How do I check my Signet Insurance Replacement Card balance

You can check your balance at any time by visiting the gift card pages on our H.Samuel and Ernest Jones websites.

All you need to enter is the 19 digit card number and the PIN code which you will find under the foil strip on the reverse of the card.

What type of jewellery does Signet Connect validate?

When you have to make a claim with your insurance provider we will often be the team who will look after you with regard to your jewellery. We can value and validate items including but not limited to the following: rings, diamonds, gemstones, all jewellery product types, metals such as gold, silver, platinum, white gold, Asian gold (including 22 carat), watches, gifts and collectibles, antique and second-hand jewellery.

What is a Signet Insurance Replacement Card?

If you have made a claim with your insurer for the loss, damage or theft of jewellery, you may be able to replace your items using a Signet Insurance Replacement Card.

These cards can be spent in any of our stores across the UK at H.Samuel and Ernest Jones. You can also spend your card online at and

There are two types of card depending on your preference, a physical card which is sent to you by post or a digital e-Insurance card which is sent to your phone, PC or tablet.

The card will expire 12 months from the day the card was issued.


What are the replacement options for lost, stolen or damaged jewellery?

We know how important your jewellery is to you. This is why we have a range of options to help you decide how you might like to replace it. 

1) Repair and Restoration: we can when possible repair or restore your original piece, so you are able to keep it and continue to treasure it

2) Bespoke Commission: if your jewellery is no longer in your possession, we have the ability to re-create it for you from photos and descriptions you give to us, our experts will draw sketches and create CAD designs to bring the original piece back to life.

3) If you would prefer to buy something completely new you can use a Signet Replacement Card which can be spend in any of our stores H.Samuel, Ernest Jones. Leslie Davis.



Can the Signet Insurance Replacement Card be spent online?

You can use your card to make purchases online at and

When you have decided on the items you would like to purchase, go to the checkout page. You will be asked to enter the card number and the pin which are both on the reverse of the card. You will need to scratch the foil panel on the reverse of the card in order to reveal the pin number required.



What is the expiry date on a Signet Insurance Replacement Card?

Each card has a 12 month expiry from the date of issuance. If you are worried your card is about to expire please get in touch with us via our Contact us page.


What happens if a Signet Insurance Replacement Card is lost or stolen?

If you have your lost your card or your card has been stolen do not worry, please contact a member of our team immediately.

We will cancel the card and check for any unauthorised spending, upon confirmation we will re-issue a new card to you.
